Wildfires in California
The wildfires in California have been burning for a very
long time. The fires have burned over 3.2 million acres of land. There have
been around 28 major wildfires that approximately 16,500 fire fighters have
been struggling with. 24 people have died and over 4,200 structures have been
destroyed. The wildfires happening in California are a very big deal. There is
so much land that has been burned and still burning till this day. President
Donald Trump needs to stop treating the wildfires as a small issue and actually
help out the state by any means necessary, instead of helping the president is
just blaming the state. As of October 5th, 2020, the fires reached
another milestone of burning 4 million acres of the California state.
I’ve heard of the wildfires happening in the states before but didn’t really pay much attention until I started researching the wildfires
of California and was truly surprised. The state management needs to come up
with a better plan to fight these fires.
